It is used when the dental pulp, which contains the tooth's nerves, arterioles, lymphatic tissue, fibrous tissue, and venules, are injured, damaged, or diseased. The primary goal of endodontist is to save the natural tooth for as long as possible, thus also protecting patients from the long process and the high costs of tooth replacement.
